Experienced Primary Care Physician Retires
After over 40 years in medicine, including 16 years serving the Shelbyville community, I have made the decision to retire. It has been an honor and privilege to be your doctor. The relationships we have built over the years mean more to me than I can express. You have entrusted me with your care, and in return, I have been blessed by your kindness, loyalty and friendship over the years. The planned date of transition is June 22 2026. I will remain in the office for a few weeks to help ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Logan Hardin will be the new physician ready to provide you with outstanding medical care and continue the standard of compassion and excellence you deserve. Dr. Hardin's office will retain custody of your medical records. If you have any questions please contact the office.

Welcome Dr. Logan Hardin
I went into family medicine because I deeply care about serving people. I have a heart for Jesus and therefore a heart for people. I want to make sure people feel heard and seen. I believe it is important to see a patent beyond what’s on paper. We are impacted by our sleep, our stress, our nutrition, our family, our beliefs. My career allows me to value you as a whole person and engage with you through a lifetime. I do not take that lightly.
My faith shapes everything about how I practice. I believe every patient is made in the image of God and the most important thing I can offer, beyond a diagnosis, is a presence that says I see you and you are in good hands. That’s what I want Hardin Family Medicine to feel like from the moment you walk in.
I am honored to be welcomed to the community of Shelbyville and care for its people. I intend to earn your trust every day.
Dr. Logan Hardin is a board-certified family medicine physician (DO) who cares for patients of all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics. She especially enjoys focusing on nutrition and prevention. She took ownership of Hardin Family Medicine with a vision for what family medicine can be when a physician is truly invested in her community — not just clinically, but personally.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Hardin serves on medical mission trips and hopes to devote even more of her career to that work over time. She and her husband Dr. Brandon Hardin both practice family medicine, and she is a proud mom of three. When she’s not with patients you will likely find her spending time outside with her family, exercising, or reading a book. She looks forward to walking alongside this community for years to come.
